This book was magnificent and brilliant. The first book EVER to have scared me so badly, to the point that I was unable to/refused to sleep at night. This went on for a week..and I'm STILL struggling with sleep at night. Never, In all my years of reading Horror novels, have I ever been this disturbed. I love it! images/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I haven't lost sleep due to fright but i did find myself stay up all night reading. I couldn't put the book down!
There was this one time, I was up reading, late! And i was going to bed and as I walked down my hallway I got this errie feeling that it took a few more steps than normal to get to my door.
Also having a closet door open at night is a little creeper now that I have read the book. The door opened and only being able to see blackness, not being able to tell how deep the black extends. I get scared at times and have to force myself to sleep.

Thank goodness I sleep in the living room! I usually sleep on the futon in front of the TV. But the TV is off when I sleep... I can't stand sleeping with noice all around!!!

The book kept me awake thinking. I'd just think about stuff and try to figure things out. I love this book. Like I've said before, it affects everyone differently.
