Hex of leaves

All righty. If you have a hard bound edition (2nd) you will notice a crap load of hex coding on the inside covers. I have been told it is a sound file. Right now I am typing it in by hand, but if someone knows where I can get the complete file please help. Also I noticed that if you set the window (i am using notepad) so that with the groupings of 4 are 19 across, there is a repeation of the line before, then some small differences and then the next set of lines. Any theories as to the pattern? maybe its a sound file, but also some other encoded message? Any takers here?

You can find the file at Exploration Z (http://houseofleaves.4t.com/). You can also click on search at the top of this page to find information you seek. images/smiles/icon_smile.gif The hex was OCRed by one of Poe's Angry Psychos (a fan).

We figured out it was an AIFF sound file pretty quickly because the first few letters spell AIFF. However I've seen POE and AP in that code too. images/smiles/icon_wink.gif I doubt there's a hidden message, just coincidence, but maybe someone else will come up with something...
