darkness = somthing not understood
its funny how the over anlyization done on the film mirrors our need to explain everylast detail that we are uncertian of that we doubt. much in same way our futile attmpts to explain away the darkness only keeps it at bay in our minds, but then again is that the only place it exsists?

This is a good point (um who made me judge? - sorry).

At times, whilst reading the book, particularly Zampano's use of other "academics" work, I find myself thinking - "too much! Stop trying to explain it all!".

Yet I want to know more and more about the puzzling nature of the book myself.
I want to finish the story; to make it all fit together; to understand.
To deny there is something there that I do not understand.
