did anyone notice the check mark on page 97. also the song on page 479 i thought might mean something. can anyone tell if its a part of a known son or what?

I remember reading about the song somewhere and that it was a exert from some childhood song...I just can't remember which one. I don't have the book right in front of me, but in the Whalestoe letters, Pelfina tells Johnny to put a check in the bottom of his next letter if he recieved Pelfina's letter.

actually i was looking at the song with a friend tonight (page 479) and he suggests that it is the song "johnny comes marching home..." which fits.
