For anyone living in the Dallas area, Poe and Mark will be at the Fretz Park Library to hold a free "<FONT COLOR="0000FF">House</FONT> of Leaves" discussion. They only ask that you turn in the questions you would like to ask before hand. I really don't know the exact date but as soon as I find out, I'll be sure to post it ASAP.

I am from the Dallas area(sort of).First I heard the discussion group was on 7-17,now I hear it is on the 16th. I am guessing the 16th is correct, but would like to know so I can attend. images/smiles/icon_cool.gif

Okay, people, I just submitted 9 more questions so hopefully this thing will happen as scheduled. Has anyone else submitted any questions? images/smiles/icon_confused.gif

I posted a couple of questions. Does anyone know where we stand? And when will the "schedule" be confirmed? I'm planning on driving down from Norman, Oklahoma and I really don't want to drive to one of those "Exhibit Missing" scenarios... Though fun to read in the book, dead ends suck when it comes to driving long distances...

Well, I just e-mailed Jessie from KDGE and asked her where we stand on this thing. Hopefully, she'll e-mail me back or post on the boards whether or not this discussion will happen as scheduled.

Okay, assume you're a guy in Norman, Oklahoma who is driving down to Dallas for the workshop/Q&A on Monday... Anything going on before/after the event? Any recommendations on where to stay Monday night?

I don't mind saying the members of this message group have impressed and inspired me in many ways! I look forward to meeting those of you who will be in Dallas! It's going to be a remarkably fun time! Also, did I see something somewhere about T-Shirts being made up by someone??? Very interested in that, as well...

In the meantime, READ NUMBER TWO continues with great enthusiasm...

I hope they do some readings and Q and A elsewhere, or Random House actually decides to issue that Reader's guide, because I'd hate to have to pay out the nose for one on ebay.
